All levels are welcome! Our teacher tailors each session to suit a variety of abilities, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner. We all started somewhere, no judgment here!
  • What fitness level is required?
There will be daily yoga and movement practices, so a basic level of fitness and training is recommended. This means being comfortable with physical activity and open to exploring your limits at your own pace.
  • What is the group size?
The retreat group will be intimate, with a maximum of 8 participants. This ensures personalized attention and a close-knit community atmosphere.
  • In which language will the classes be taught?
All classes and sessions will be conducted in English to accommodate our international group of participants. However, Michaela, who is Slovak, and Pauline, who is French, are happy to assist with translations or clarifications in Slovak and French if needed. English will remain the primary language to ensure inclusivity and ease of communication for everyone.
  • Is travel insurance required?
Travel insurance is not mandatory but highly recommended for your peace of mind. It can help cover unexpected changes or emergencies. Message from Pauline: Hey there, I personally have been using Chapka for years now in all my travels. You can get 5% off on THIS LINK or with "Pauline5" (valid for all European countries)
  • Do I need a visa to travel to Morocco?
Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. Please check with your local Moroccan consulate or embassy to confirm if a visa is required for your trip. Citizens of European Union (EU) member states can enter Morocco without a visa for stays of up to 90 days. To enter Morocco, your passport must have an ‘expiry date’ at least 3 months after the date you arrive. Ensure your passport is in good condition, as Moroccan authorities may deny entry to travelers with damaged passports. Please note that visa and entry requirements can change. It's advisable to verify the latest information with the Moroccan consulate or embassy in your country before traveling.
  • Can I extend my stay in Morocco?
Absolutely! While the villa isn’t available to extend your stay, we’re happy to recommend nearby accommodations if you’d like to arrive early or explore Morocco after the retreat.
  • What is the local currency, and are there ATMs nearby?
Morocco is still very much a cash society, the Moroccan Dirham (MAD) is the official currency which can be bought at certain international airports outside of the country, but at a higher cost. It’s always better to buy MAD once you’re in the country, either by withdrawing cash from an ATM or by exchanging hard currency to MAD at an exchange office. Almost everywhere you go in the village of Taghazout, cash is the only accepted form of payment, the Moroccan Dirham is the main currency, but some gift shops, restaurants and hotels will also accept hard currencies that can be converted in the country (ie: USD, EUR, GBP…). There are two ATMs in the village on the main road, however a considerable amount of guests have reported that their cards didn’t work with any of the ATMs in the village, either due to problems with their bank not allowing it or when the ATMs have ran out of bills. We recommend you to get cash beforehand, either at the airport or from home.
  • Is travel to and from the retreat included?
We provide airport transfers to and from Agadir Airport only. Transfers from other locations are not included, so please ensure your travel plans align with this. If you need assistance, feel free to reach out!
  • Is Wi-Fi available at the villa?
Yes, the villa has Wi-Fi, but we encourage participants to embrace the opportunity to disconnect and be fully present during the retreat.
  • What should I pack?
We recommend packing: Comfortable yoga clothes Swimwear Sunscreen A reusable water bottle Personal yoga gear (optional) A detailed packing list will be provided closer to the retreat date.
  • Are yoga mats and props provided?
Yes, all yoga mats and props will be provided. However, we recommend you to bring your own mat if you have one.
  • Are dietary restrictions and allergies accommodated?
Yes, our private chef can accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies. Please inform us in advance so we can ensure your needs are met.
  • Is this a tech-free retreat?
While the retreat encourages mindfulness and presence, it’s not strictly tech-free. We all love to capture memories with pictures and videos, but we kindly ask you to be mindful during practices to avoid disturbing others. Let’s stay present and respectful of the group experience.
