Pauline is a movement expert with over 15 years experience in flexibility training. Certified as a yoga teacher in Bali, she shares her passion worldwide, blending yoga tradition with modern elements from calisthenics, mobility, dance, and surf.

"I wasn’t born flexible or able to do handstands, trust me! I also went through A LOT of injuries from overtraining and just life accidents. For years, I struggled with confidence in my body. Choosing to heal my mind and to train my body in a healthy and sustainable way were the best decisions I’ve ever made — and I’m here to help you do the same!"

This retreat is for advanced beginners to intermediate movers who already train regularly and want to level up with structured coaching. • Training 2–3x/week is the minimum baseline to comfortably handle the week • If you train 4–6x/week, that’s great. Sessions will adapt to you, with a focus on technique, efficiency and recovery • This is an active week Movement levels: • Handstands: from “never tried” to balancing and refining alignment (no advanced skills like presses or one-arm work) • Flexibility: from beginner to advanced (variations for all levels) • Surf: from first-time to independent on green waves (the classes are not suited for advanced big-wave surfers) • Calisthenics: from beginner to intermediate (example skills we might cover: pull-ups, L-sits, skin-the-cat, arm-balance transitions) If you’re a complete beginner who trains very occasionally or not at all, this retreat is probably not the right fit.

That’s completely fine. You don’t need prior experience in handstands, flexibility or surf. All sessions are progressive and adaptable, and you’ll be coached based on your current level, not compared to others. Curiosity and willingness to try matter more than experience. If you have a past injury or a non-recent issue that you’re already managing and training around, that’s usually fine. Handling limitations, adapting training and listening to your body are part of an athletic mindset, and sessions can be adjusted when needed. I am trained in injury prevention through prehab & mobility. That said, this retreat is not suitable for acute or recent injuries, or if you’re currently unable to train. Please mention any limitation in the application form so we can make sure this retreat is a good fit for you.
